Lao Tzu's Daily Practice



What if sage-hood was simply mastering the Dao’s treasures of simplicity, patience, and compassion to the point that we practice them spontaneously, habitually, easily, and effectively? In the sixty-fourth chapter of the Dao De Jing do we not read “…the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step…”?


Chanting six chapters of the Dao De Jing every twelve hours, leads to contemplating the entirety of it EVERY week. How could we internalize it? By following Lao Tzu’s instructions in his fifteenth chapter that twice daily we too could meditate like a Jedi.
