Many centuries ago it was taught that perfect love drives out fear, and trusts all things, while fear (by inference) suspects all things. But, as students of the Tao Te Ching, how are we to apply these to our interactions?
When we choose fear and coercion by uttering, “If you do that, here is how you will suffer,” or “here is how I will compound your stress.” we are shoving our companions
into their under-brains: home of fear and aggression.
Better to choose cooperation, communicating: “I see you choosing kindness. You are seen, and you are respected!” To better cultivate these attributes: meditate like a Jedi.
