Anxiety, Walking, and Meditation - 9dec22

Suffer from anxiety? Then walking meditation could be what the doctor ordered. Speaking of which, if your anxiety is debilitating and persists for three months go to the PCRM website https://www.pcrm.org/findadoctor and find a plant-based psychiatrist.

The genius of (brisk) walking meditation is that it asymmetrically “massages” your hippocampus (vital to the processing of trauma). With each IN-breath silently recite “Notice this…” and with each OUT-breath mentally recite “relaxing!” all the while allowing your mind and body to do their thing like actors on a stage, with the illusion of “you” as an audience of one.

Do this for twenty, forty, or sixty minuets (every twelve hours) and you’ll meditate like a Jedi.
