Bowing, Walking-meditation, and Mind ONLY - 26nov22
There are some who insist that only mind is real and body (no less circumstance) are mere projections, like that conjured by a magician. But, illusion or not, body exerts an influence upon the mind. Too little exercise and mind grows dull and listless; too much and agitation could abound.
Perhaps that is why (in the Theravada tradition) retreatants alternate between sitting and walking meditation and (in Mahayana practice) folks could both start and end their practices of contemplation and meditation with styles of bowing; some more athletically demanding than others. Find the right balance that you too could meditate like a Jedi.
