Anything new could be exciting, perhaps even scary. When anticipating a visit to a temple one might be frightened of transgressing etiquette and offending the monks. But just as Han Solo corrected Finn, in "The Force Awakens," with the words, “The Force doesn’t work like that!” likewise when we attend a temple: good hearted and considerate; it is not our knowledge of etiquette that is being tested as much as the monks’ tolerance, flexibility, and joy. For if those monks have neither wisdom nor love, then what have they, to teach us?
