the controlling, prideful,
and pseudo-intellectual habit
of viewing his teachings
through the lens
of our preconceptions.
For four sevenths
of the Buddha’s
meditation method
relies upon
the strategic use
of duality as a tool.
This mean,
for starters,
that we must
suspend our assumption
that dualities are somehow
UN-spiritual.
Which is a notion
popularized
by commentaries
to the Tao Te Ching
that were penned
by well meaning,
yet stupid,
white men.
