Faith begins
innocently enough
with an idea.
It spreads to the emotions
that we feel about that idea.
And like a sprout
growing into an oak,
these ideas and feelings
grow very rigid
as do our desires to protect them
as well as procreate them.
Until like Chancellor Palpatine
spitting at Anakin Skywalker,
“Do it!”
we too are dictating to others
what they must think, and feel,
and say, and do.
Let us set down this dangerous tool of faith
and instead flow wisely, lovingly, and gently;
like the sages we were born to be.
Let us conclude
with a simple
call to action
In the Tibetan tradition Lamas are supported
not by monasteries but by students
