The majority of our experience...

What if there was no heaven,

what if there was no hell,

what if there was no afterlife,

what if there was no next life?

What if there was just

this life?

How is our life going?

I’m not referring to

our circumstances,

or our job,

or our income,

or our relationship status.

I am referring to our emotions

what are the emotions

that most aptly describe

our most frequent

moment to moment experience?

Are we defined by peace,

and love, and joy

or is the majority of our experience

dominated by anger, and fear, and sorrow?

If we only have one life

could it not be an imperative

to make the most of it?

No, this is not merely

a plea to meditate.

This is a request to examine

the triggers in our life;

the ones we do have

some control over.

What does Coffee do to us as individuals:

What does white sugar,

or dairy do to us?

How are our culinary choices

effecting our moods?

What are our exercise choices,

or our sleep choices

doing to our moods?

If we only have one life

it is imperative we manage our moods

environmentally, nutritionally, and behaviorally

lest our lives

deteriorate

into just one enormous shit sandwich!

And just imagine

what that could do

to our breath.

Let us conclude

with a simple

call to action
