Our physical needs are real.
We need food, and shelter, and clothing.
BUT let not those needs drive us
to greed, or coercion, or manipulation,
or competition, or cruelty.
May we instead traverse
the path of the sage,
the path of empathy and compassion
and cooperation.

can not OUT give the universe
and as such may we
give, and give, and give,
with wild abandon
and wait and see
how our love
is reciprocated.
