The Buddha’s path is easy.
The Four noble truths are easy.
The Eight fold path is easy.
And in none of these are we told
to consider who we are.
Contrast Mace Windu
with Qui Gon Jinn:
one dragged his identity
like the ghost of Jacob Marley
dragged his chains.
The other metaphorically
danced like a dakini of legend.
Perhaps that is why
we read in the Tao Te Ching
that he who would label himself,
could never know himself.
Let us conclude
with a simple
call to action
