Those of us with, so called,
invisible disabilities
are often accused
of faking it for attention.
Hear that long enough
and you’ll begin to wonder
if it’s true.
Here’s a simple litmus test:
do your symptoms ever present
in the absence of others?
Then you’re NOT faking it
for attention.
Unless you’re trying
to impress the cat.
But that’s just silly.
For impressing our feline overlords
is as easy as opening
a can of wet food.
Let us conclude
with a simple
call to action
In the Tibetan tradition Lamas are supported
not by monasteries but by students
