Whether we call it Zazen, Ch’an,

Mahamudra, or Trekcho,

noticing and letting-go

are the essence of meditation.

But how could mindfulness

help us to process

unresolved trauma?

The secret is four-fold.

The more vulnerable, passive,

visceral, and spontaneous our awareness is,

the greater the opportunity

for our minds to defrag,

just like a hard drive,

in an older computer.
