Be thou NOT deceived.

It is far wiser to heed the signals of our body and mind

than to avert our perception

and persist rigidly with an arbitrary goal,

like a Victorian work horse

whose peripheral vision is undermined

by a set of leather blinders.

For yin’s path of matriarchy

is paved not with myopic rigidity and idealism

that feed uptightness

but rather with the flexibility and pragmatism

that help us to “take’er easy!”
